Israeli Army Launches New Attacks in Southern Lebanon

Israeli forces carried out machine-gun fire, artillery shelling and air attacks in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA). The reported attacks came despite an ongoing truce between Israel and Lebanon.
Israeli forces fired machine guns toward Wadi al-Salouqi in Nabatieh governorate, while the town of Mansouri was hit by artillery fire overnight, NNA reported.
The agency also reported an Israeli air attack on Kfar Tebnit. The outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa were also subjected to intermittent artillery shelling, according to the report.
No immediate information was available on whether the attacks caused casualties or damage to property. There was also no immediate information about the circumstances surrounding the reported attacks or any response from Israeli authorities.
The latest incidents add to reported violations of the truce in southern Lebanon, where tensions have remained high despite the agreement intended to reduce military activity and prevent further escalation.
